About This Tea: A jammy and tart raspberry and hibiscus green tea blend! Brighten up your afternoon with a helping of this rich raspberry and tart hibiscus green tea. When you open the bag you will smell a fairly strong smell of tarty and sweet scent of primarily raspberry. This blend consists of bits of raspberry fruity and hibiscus leaves interspersed within straight and flat green tea leaves of different lengths both broken and unbroken. The hibiscus leaves are primarily responsible for the red-purplish infusion. It is best steeped using tea filters or a multi-use tea steeper. Once steeped, the tea is both refreshing and soothing with sweet underlying sweet tones of raspberry and tart tones of hibiscus. Let it cool off for a few minutes after steeping. This blend is sweet, jammy and rich with a character that lends itself to either delicious hot or iced tea. We prefer it cooler with a squeeze of lemon. To bring out the raspberry flavor even more consider adding your favorite sweetener. As a green tea it has medium caffeine and serves as a nice afternoon pick-me-up. So it is best drunk during the day and not at night. It is vegan as long as milk is not added. This tea, as sold, is organic, vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. Try it out!
